KnotFerry is a free ferry schedule service for the US and British Virgin Islands, operated by Blue Trianon Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We take your privacy seriously and collect as little data as possible.

What We Collect

KnotFerry uses Matomo Analytics in cookieless mode to understand general usage patterns such as which routes are most popular and how often schedules are viewed. This tracking does not use cookies, does not store any personal identifiers, and fully respects your browser's Do Not Track setting. If you have Do Not Track enabled, no analytics data is collected at all.

We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other personally identifiable information through the website.

Payments

If you choose to support KnotFerry by buying us a coffee, you will be redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. We do not see or store your payment card details. Stripe processes your payment according to their own privacy policy. We receive only your name and email address from Stripe for the purpose of transaction records.

Cookies

KnotFerry does not set any cookies. Our analytics system operates in cookieless mode, and the site does not use any third-party tracking or advertising scripts.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party services used by KnotFerry are Matomo (self-hosted analytics, cookieless) and Stripe (payment processing, only if you choose to make a purchase). No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

Data Storage

Analytics data is stored on our self-hosted Matomo instance. We do not sell, share, or transfer any collected data to third parties. Schedule preferences you set (such as your preferred route) are stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers.

Children's Privacy

KnotFerry is a general-audience informational service. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
